Every person on this planet has been disappointed at some point in their life by the people they love. Whether it is a family member, close friend, neighbor, co-worker, or your dry cleaner, someone has let you down. Therefore, my question today is what makes some people able to forgive and move on and others grab onto this pain and live with it. That pain that burrows in a person’s heart and made worse by repeating the injustice in your mind, settles in and makes what was once your ‘peace’ its home. That peace you may have had before is now demoted down to a tiny speck.

Isiah 30:26 amplified bible, “The Lord binds up the hurt of His people and heals their wound inflicted by their sins.

Psalm 41 Heal my soul for I have sinned against thee.

Sin will wound you even if you were not the one who sinned. Yes, this sucks. When a loved one wounds you, it can deeply affect every aspect of your life. Is un-forgiveness sin? YES! Mark 11:25-26 “ 25 Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you your transgressions. 26 [But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father who is in heaven forgive your transgressions.”]

Sin can wound your soul but Jesus can heal you.

If you want to read about how trauma can affect your life just read The book of Job. Here is a man that was afflicted by disaster and health problems, by no fault of his own, and came out on the other side of Trauma, blessed. Why? Because he stayed true to God.

Are there people that need to hear from you today? Is there a phone call that you need to make, a letter you need to write, a text that needs to be sent, or a visit that needs to be made? Maybe today is the day to find your peace again. Make your decision based on God’s word, not others…
